I've worked in a virtual law firm setting since the pandemic began, and I feel fortunate to be able to continue to practice law in such a flexible environment.Ā

My clients find it super convenient. We can schedule meetings during their commute to work or while they drive from one location to another, for example. We both appreciate the flexibility to schedule meetings wherever we are, without the need to waste time traveling, parking, etc.Ā

I can also bring my expertise and provide services to clients no matter where they are located. It's super cool and definitely non-traditional.Ā

While we usually communicate on video calls, some old-school clients prefer a telephone, and that's ok, too. For example, I've been working very closely with some clients for four years, and we have only ever communicated on the phone. It's wild to think I have no idea what they look like, and yet we work so closely together for so long.Ā

It really simplifies and focuses the process for us. We both are able to use our valuable time efficiently--to perform top-quality legal services and get great results without wasting time on the other stuff. It works for us!Ā

I realize there is a push in the US and across the world to go back to the office, but I am team virtual law office 100%.Ā

What do you think of virtual law firms?
